CETAPHIL, as the most prescribed brand of cleansers and moisturizers by Dermatologists in the Philippines, has been one of my trusted products when it comes to beauty care. 65 years in the biz and it has already gathered an enormous amount of awards.

Ms. Grace of Gracia Fashionista, a blog about the latest trends and styles, is currently hosting a giveaway to some readers of her blog. She is giving away Cetaphil products for free and the mechanics is just very simple. Of course, I joined the contest and I'm hoping to grab some of the items. Preppy!!!

Got a teacher who still looks like a student?  It's not really a big deal anyway. We, teachers, get overwhelmed when people would mistakenly consider us as students. It's in the looks, right? We love to feel young and be young!

So, Teacher Jeza went to school one day and wore this preppy outfit! It was a no-class day (meaning, there were no students) but we have to attend a meeting in school, so we dressed up and said goodbye to those boring formal outfits! We like to be cool sometimes! :)

With her matching red-black strips eyewear!!!!

So, dare to be experimental once in awhile!!!! Get preppy!!! :)

Off to a meeting.

Hi everyone!! It's good to be back. It's been awhile since I last posted here. Recently, I decided to convert this into a fashion blog, most especially dedicated for teachers like me. I realized there are only few blogs on Teacher Fashion and I would like to help my fellow mates remain fashionable despite being teachers. The teacher-with-eyeglasess-and-nerd-looks-era is gone already! Whether we're inside the school or outside the community, we should never stop thinking about what to wear as we can always meet someone we know, students, parents, and even our co-workers. :)

Let's start. Yesterday, I attended a meeting not school-related and I wore earth color tones, in brown and white. I got compliments from my friends and even from a parent whom I've met somewhere on the way. Great! :)

 Earth colors :)

graphic sleeveless blouse

brown flare soft pants

On Rhythm and The Road

Many people would ask me why I am still so enthusiastic in running and jogging. Don't I get discouraged every time I lose? Don't I feel weak every time someone is ahead of me  in a running event? Don't I give up when I feel so tired already yet the finish line is still very far? Don't I feel so slow as compared to those who are experienced?

Well, in  a running event, most often, it's actually not important whether you're fast or not. Sometimes, what is  important is you go through the whole journey without compromising your health and body. By that means, you just have to go through your own pace. Personally, I don't care  if others are ahead of me because they're fast or if I cannot catch  up with the pace of my colleagues or friends. I don't mind if I'm left behind but I don't give up either. I continue running. I stop and breathe. I walk. I know my limitations. I know  my strength. At the end, I am able to finish the journey.

Recently, I read this  book "Like A  Flowing River". I  was struck  with one of the stories written in the book because it can explain my running experience. Now, to those who think they can't attend runs and marathons, please remember this wonderful note from Paulo Coehlo:
I've noticed that most pilgrims, whether on the Road to Santiago or on any of life's paths, always try to follow the rhythm set by others. At the start of my pilgrimage, I tried to keep up with my group, but I got tired.  I was demanding too much of my body. I  was tense all the time and ended up straining the tendons in my left foot. I couldn't walk for two days after that, and I realized that I would only reach Santiago if I obeyed my own rhythm. I took longer than the others to get there and for long stretches I often had to walk along; but it was only by respecting my own rhythm that I managed to complete the journey. Ever since then, I have applied this to everything I do in life: I follow my own rhythm.

Of Running.

Hi guys! It has  been awhile since I last posted an entry to this blog. I'm sorry 'coz I've been very busy attending  events and activities lately and I usually spend more time in my other personal blog

So, what am I up to this  time? Well, I've been attending running and advocacy events lately and now, I feel I'm becoming addicted to running already.  Not really the marathon type, but more  on running-for-advocacy type. So far, I've attended three advocacy runs/ fun runs for the past  2 months and I've enjoyed all of 'em.

So what do I get in running? And what will you get in running? Basically, it's for endurance and stamina. Even though I regularly go to the gym, the feeling of having to run an "extra  mile" is more fulfilling. In the gym, you get to rest and sit down if you want to. In running, you     would only want to go further. It's tiring at first but you only have to go with your pace. I tell you, there is always an improvement of the latest from the previous one.

Right now, I go to the gym every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and in between that (Tuesday and Thursday), I go running and jogging at the Sports Center Oval. It's a great exercise combination and I suggest you do the same thing.

I'm getting ready for another advocacy run on May 15. But for now, let me show you my previous run experiences. I hope you'll be motivated to go running too. :)
